The EDI Hazardous Substances Working Group gears up to publish Asbestos Guide

After the summer break, the EDI Hazardous Substances Working Group returns with an important new project: the publication of a monographic guide titled “How to Decontaminate Asbestos”, set to be released in the following months.
Asbestos is still one of the most widespread hazardous materials found in buildings across Europe. Though its use has been banned for years, the challenges of safely identifying and removing it remain highly relevant for professionals in decontamination, demolition, and construction.
This upcoming guide will provide practical knowledge, industry insights, and best practices to support safe and effective asbestos decontamination.
It will be ready by the end of the year and it could be openly consulted online on the EDI library.
