Take a glance: how the Geotech Expo developed

• The exhibition took place in the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) of Birmingham on 22-23 September

The Contamination & Geotech Expo 2021 was crowded with exhibitors and expert speakers who presented innovative solutions for contamination and the latest technology products. Celebrated in the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, Birmingham, this event resembled the importance of geotech nowadays. In order to achieve that, the NEC was divided into seven zones: land remediation, spill response, clean air tech, hazardous materials, nuclear decommissioning and remediation, geotechnical and geoenvironmental, waste water and seminar program.

The Geotech Expo represented an opportunity for education and networking for the industry. Also, the research made by Roar 2B2 showed how important it is to bring back exhibitions after the pandemic. It had encourage the industry to bring the contamination and geotechnical companies together, all intending to improve global land & water contamination prevention and remediation.
