Finland celebrates its Demolition Day

As Summer was closing its course, the Demolition, Decontamination and Recycling (DDR) industry resumed its activities. One of the most notable ones was the Finnish Demolition Day 2023.
This encounter, organized by the Finnish Demolition Association (FDA) took place in Helsinki, on September 7th.
The seminar has lasted all day. During the event, the guests had the chance to enjoy different conferences, awards and networking moments.
In particular, regarding the decontamination industry, a very interesting presentation took place. Ms Sirkku Saarikoski, from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, discussed the situation of the asbestos directive. This topic, quite prevalent in the industry today, is very important to discuss to compare different countries’ legislation and paths.
