EDI working groups, each touching upon a specific topic within the decontamination industry
19/07/2024
Throughout the years, the EDI has counted on the help of several working groups, each touching upon a specific topic within the decontamination industry.
The main purpose of those working groups is to analyze the most common hazardous substances that may appear on construction and demolition sites.
Composed by the contractors, engineering consultants, and national associations, the members actively collaborate in those working groups with their knowledge and experience.
In particular, the case studies and technical articles created by the participants of the working group are of great importance in EDI Working Groups showcasing the good practices, innovation and technological advancements within the decontamination industry.
Our Special Publication 2024 was made possible thanks to the implication of the working group on Hazardous substances, and its subgroup focused on asbestos.
On the other hand, the Statistics working group is responsible for another important EDI Publication: the Decontamination Industry Report. This study compiles information from decontamination professionals and their industry, as well as forecasts of what’s to come in the decontamination sector.
