“Demolition after Coronavirus”: KHL webinar with the participation of EDA

Mr. Francisco Cobo, President of the European Demolition Association, EDA, and the European Decontamination Institute, EDI, is going to participate in the free webinar organised by Demolition & Recycling International (D&Ri) on Wednesday, 3 June at 15:00 (UK time) to discuss the effects of Covid-19 on the sector and how it may develop and change in the months and years ahead.

The president of the association will be part of a panel of experts who will share their perspectives on the short and long term impact of the pandemic on the industry.

The discussion will be moderated by Steve Ducker, Editor of D&Ri, and the participants will be:

  • David Darsey, Managing Director and Demolition Division of Erith Group
  • Martin Krupicka, President and CEO of Brokk
  • Francisco Cobo, President of European Demolition Association

The 45-minute webinar will focus on the challenges faced by the demolition industry and its supply chain, as well as how the pandemic might bring about new working practices.

Participants will be able to interact with the panelists by sharing their questions with them.

EDA has been monitoring the evolution of the coronavirus crisis and its repercussions on the demolition industry.

As a result, EDA has launched recently a free access report to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 on the European demolition companies prepared with the participation of companies from 18 European countries through an online survey, made from 6 to 15 May 2020.
