SAP, the Finnish Federation of Asbestos and Dust Renovation joins EDI as a new member

- The European Decontamination Institute, EDI, welcomes its new member: SAP, the Finnish Federation of Asbestos and Dust Renovation.
SAP, the Finnish Federation of Asbestos and Dust Renovation, is a national association of companies involved in the decontamination of asbestos, one of the most common hazardous substances in our environment.
It was founded in 1988 as a request of setting standards for work safety in removal of asbestos and other hazardous substances. And it is the federation that represents Hands-On professionalism and expertise in surveys, renovation and removal of asbestos and other hazardous substances.
Its main activities are the cooperation with authorities (for example the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health or Regional State administrative agencies), the participation in the preparation of the current asbestos legislation (2016), the celebration of annual conventions and benchmarking abroad and international cooperation and memberships.
Today, the Finnish Federation of Asbestos and Dust Renovation brings together 77 companies.
